Audi Galway Opens In September Creating 25 Jobs
Already established and well known Audi dealers, and brothers Neil and Kevin Connolly, are opening a new Audi showroom with an investment of €1 Million. It’s split level showroom and state of the art after sales workshop will make it one of the largest Audi dealerships in Ireland.
This new dealership will create 25 new jobs over the coming months and is part of Audi Ireland’s plan to invest €80 Million into their dealer network with the plan to create 200 jobs.

Bentley Icon On Show At Crewe Factory Until September
Its just finished a run in the Louis Vuitton ‘Serenissima Run’ in Venice and representing Bentley in the Le Mans Classic, now the Bentley ‘Embiricos’ special is on show at the Crewe factory until September.
Commissioned by Greek racing driver André Embiricos and built by coachbuilder Marcel Pourtout, together with designer Georges Paulin they created an aerodynamic body which would go on to put in some impressive track times as well as being used as a road car by Embiricos, in later years under new ownership, it would go on to compete in three post-war Le Mans 24 hour races and achieve a 6th place in 1949.
Embiricos’ Bentley is credited with being the influence for the 1952 R Type Continental a design trait which has carried through to todays Continental GT coupe.
Richard Charlesworth, Director of Royal and VIP Relations and Head of the Bentley Heritage Collection: “It is an honour for Bentley to exhibit this unique Bentley for the first time, thanks to the generosity of its esteemed owner. Its sleek form was extremely advanced for the time, and its DNA can still be seen in modern Bentley coupes today. We are looking forward to showing the Embiricos to our factory visitors, and to the public at the upcoming Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance.”
