SEAT have announced an all new Toledo before the end of the year in Ireland. Reverting back to the familiar small saloon style of previous Toledos it will enter the market in competition to the likes of the Ford Focus and Opel Astra saloons.
The new Toledo is 80mm longer than the previous saloon version, giving passengers ample legroom and also comes with a hatch style boot opening offering generous boot size and good loading space.
Pricing is expected to start at around €18,000 and initially will be available as a 1.2 75bhp petrol engine and a 1.6 TDI, 105hp Diesel. The Diesel giving a low 114g/km emission reading which puts it in tax band A. Next year SEAT plan to add a 90 hp TDI version.
Standard safety equipment includes a driver and passenger airbag, front side airbags and a head/thorax airbag. And all come with a 3 year warranty.
