SEAT Ireland will be making an appearence at the Bavaria City Racing Event in Dublin this weekend, they have provided two Cupra R models as the safety and pace cars and also a SEAT Exeo ST as a medic support vehicle.
With a 2.0-litre TSI engine putting out 265hp, the SEAT Leon Cupra R is the performance flagship of the SEAT range of cars and is available from €40,305.
According to SEAT Ireland Brand Director, Adam Chamberlain the racing cars on the day might have their work cut out for them,
The Leon Cupra R is a seriously quick car, so the only worry is that the Formula 1 cars on the day just won’t be able to keep up. We are delighted to be supporting what promises to be a really exciting free event for motorsport fans.
The Bavaria City Racing Dublin city track starts at the Convention Centre Dublin, continues along Custom House Quay before crossing Butt Bridge, chicanes at D’Olier Street, zips past College Green and the Central Bank on Dame Street before reaching the chequered flag on O’Connell Bridge.
